Internship / Apprenticeship Opportunity in CVT Myanmar

Location: Yangon
Term: 4 days per week for 10 months (extendable)

Eligibility: Any fresh university / college graduates (internship)
CVT “Commercial Assistant Profession” students (apprenticeship)

Description:

CVT Myanmar is a non-profit organization, registered in Myanmar (INGO 1/0136) by Swiss Supporter Association, as well as a certified Vocational Skills Training Center by Department of Labor, under Ministry of Labor, Population and Immigration. It has been maintaining an international network and providing the education through the concept of dual form of apprenticeship (earn while you learn), which combines practical and theoretical training.

We are delighted to give the self-motivated graduates and students an “internship” and “apprenticeship” opportunities across its operational functions including human resources, finance, admin and operations, technology, marketing and communications that bridge learning experience with real workplace. They will learn ways of working in different school units under CVT and will be provided soft skills needed for workplace collaboration, guided by the related supervisor of the teams. At the end of the completion, they will be awarded Internship / Apprenticeship Completion Certificate.

Responsibilities in the assigned areas, that will be rotated;
– Attend CVT training one day/week as assigned – for “Commercial Assistant Profession” students
– Assist in the daily running of the training operation in the assigned areas and reporting
– Assist in the training data entry, documentations, recordings and filings system and reporting
– Conduct excellent communication, co-operation and collaboration internally / externally with service-oriented mindset

Requirements are:
– 20 + age
– Ability to adapt and work in a “ dynamic environment” and collaborate effectively as a team member and to communicate at all levels with internal/external students, training partners, governmental offices, teachers by phone, email and face to face
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g. Word, Excel, and Power Point)
– A positive attitude with good organizational, presentation and writing skills
– English language literacy
